"Humbug" é a nova cria dos garotos do Arctic Monkeys.
Bem bom este novo trabalho, que mescla momentos clamos com explosivos,como na sequência "Dance Little Liar" (calma) e "Pretty Visitors" (explosiva).
"Potion Approaching" é uma das faixas que entram em 'repeat' com frequência no meu I-pobre. "My Propeller", faixa de abertura, é outro destaque.

Kasabian - "The West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum" [ 2009 ]

"The West Rider Pauper Lunatic Asylum"... esse é novo trabalho do Kasabian. Algumas audições... não senti muitas diferenças em relação aos álbuns anteriores. Climas, 70´s (observem a capa), psicodelia, efeitos eletrônicos aqui e ali, viagens, vocal "largado"...
Não sou muito fã da banda, gosto de alguns sons, como foi o caso de "Underdog", faixa que abre este álbum. A faixa seguinte, "Where Did All The Love Go?",também merece destaque, assim como "Fire", já em versão videoclípica, conforme post anterior.

Miss Kittin & The Hacker - "Two" [ 2009 ]

Boas! Aqui está, como prometido, "Two", novo do duo Miss Kittin & The Hacker!

Este trabalho segue a mesma linha do "First Album",mesclando elementos 80´s , viagens eletronicas, quedinha pra coisastechno... tudo com a doce voz de Caroline Hervé.

"Battle For The Sun" é o nome da sexta cria do pessoal do Placebo e é um álbum bem bom, deve figurar entre meus preferidos de 2009. Como disse em posts anteriores, este ano está com muitos bons lançamentos para a tradicional lista de "Melhores do Ano".

"Breathe Underwater" é um dos destaques e já virou a nova "predileta da casa". Outros destaques ficam por conta de "For What It´s Worth" (já com clip), "Battle For The Sun", "Bright Lights", "The Never-Ending Why"...

Maximo Park - "Quicken The Heart" [ 2009 ]

Mais um álbum pra 2009. "Quicken The Heart", novo do Maximo Park, é o predileto desta semana. Gostei muito deste trabalho dos caras e achei bem semelhante ao "A Certain Trigger", primeiro álbum da banda.
Destaques? Dá pra ouvir o CD por completo, sem pular músicas. No meu I-podre, entram no "repeat" com frequência "The Kids Are Sick Again" e "Calm".
"Wraithlike", faixa que abre o álbum está disponível para download no site da banda, basta fazer um registro.
